AASR Ladies’ Association

The quarterly meeting of the
Scottish Rite Ladies’ Association was held on
November 8, 2011, in the Gold Room of the Cleveland Masonic and
Performance Arts Center. In
attendance were 35 members and 5 visitors, with a possibility of two new
members. A special thank you to
Sharon Jakse for preparing the delicious lunches we enjoyed this past year.
Our entertainment was
provided by a troupe of ladies from “The Clague Play House” in
Bay Village with a skit called “The Ladies of the Mop” that
was enjoyed by all.
Our bi-annual Installation
of Officers was held and the new officers for 2012 and 2013 are:
President: Shirley Huffman; Vice-President: Lucille Grieg;
Secretary: Pat Hacker; and Treasurer: Barbara Dominick.
Congratulations to our new Officers, and we thank them in advance for
their service.
I would like to express my
personal thanks to the officers and committee members of the Ladies’ Association
for all their hard work and support during my tenure as President in 2010 and
2011.
Our next Board Meeting will
be February 21, 2012 and our
next luncheon is planned for March 13,
2012. All wives,
widows, sisters, daughters and friends of the Valley
of Cleveland members are welcome to join
the Ladies’ Association. Dues are
$5.00 per year and life membership is available upon request.
We meet four times a year for lunch, fellowship and fun.
