Solemn Feast of Paschal Lamb
is Sunday, March 24

The sixty-fourth annual Solemn Feast of the Paschal Lamb will be held in The Cleveland Masonic Center on Palm Sunday, March 24 beginning at 3:00 p.m. Guest speaker for the special Rose Croix ceremonial will be Reverend Gary Kornell, Pastor of the Old Stone Church in Downtown Cleveland. (See biography below).

The Feast of the Paschal Lamb is observed annually by Ariel Chapter of Rose Croix, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in The Valley of Cleveland. Presiding over the ceremonial will be Alan W. Jones, Most Wise Master of Ariel Chapter, Rose Croix.

The significance of the Feast is a reminder to Christians of Holy Week, and to those of the Jewish faith, of Passover. The ceremonial acknowledges the celebration of both faiths.

Appropriate music for The Feast Solemn Feast of Paschal Lamb will be provided by The Scottish Rite Chorus, under the direction of Chester F. Willey.

The Feast of the Paschal Lamb is an annual event in the Valley of Cleve-land. Members and their guests are invited to attend the moving Rose Croix Ceremonial. No admission is required nor will an offering be taken.

Plan your Palm Sunday schedule now and attend this Valley of Cleveland Family Life Program. You will be richly rewarded by your attendance.

The Valley of Cleveland is pleased to announce that the guest speaker for the traditional Feast of the Paschal Lamb will be Rev. & Doctor Gary Kornell, Pastor of the Old Stone Church in Cleveland.

Rev. Kornell is a graduate of Baylor University and has a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Vanderbilt University. He received his Doctorate in Ministry from Drew University.

His first pastorate was in Indianapolis at the Westminister Church where under his leadership the congregation became a hub of mission outreach, organizing a well-baby clinic and heath center program.
